Ombudsman Information The Federal Student Aid Ombudsman Office resolves disputes from a neutral,
independent viewpoint. By informally conducting research, the Ombudsman determines whether fair treatment has been received.
If the complaint is justified, the Ombudsman will work with the parties involved to resolve the complaint.
