Transfer of the Bright Futures Scholarship Between Institutions

Awarded students may receive Bright Futures funding at eligible Florida postsecondary institutions. Students may not receive award funding at out-of-state postsecondary institutions.

A student may use his/her User ID and PIN to update his/her postsecondary institution and demographic information,

OR

Call the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) toll-free at 1-888-827-2004 to transfer the scholarship to another institution.

To receive timely disbursements, OSFA must be notified of institution changes by the schedule listed below:

If a student does not know his/her User ID and/or PIN he/she can access this information on the Login page.  Select Get My User ID and PIN.  With the User ID and PIN a student may:
  • view award status;
  • view and/or update demographic and postsecondary institution information;
  • view disbursements and hours remaining for disbursement after the drop/add period;
  • view all correspondence sent from the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA);
  • view spring renewal Grade Point Average (GPA);
  • view earned hours reported by the postsecondary institution and remaining scholarship hours; and
  • view Financial Aid Recipient History web page.
