Transfer of the Bright Futures Scholarship Between Institutions

Internet Access

A student may use his/her User ID and PIN to update his/her postsecondary institution and demographic information.   Each student received the User ID and PIN in an Initial Student Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) confirmation correspondence.

Activate your User ID and PIN - Know it, Use it, Be Responsible for your state financial aid!

If a student does not know his/her User ID and/or PIN he/she can access this information at www.FloridaStudentFinancialAid.org.  Select State Grants, Scholarships & Applications, Application Status & Award History, and Get My User ID and PIN.

A student should follow the screen instructions to view or update his/her student record.

With the User ID and PIN a student may:

• view award status;
• view spring renewal Grade Point Average (GPA) and earned hours reported by the postsecondary institution;
• view disbursements and hours remaining for disbursement (after the drop/add period);
• view all correspondence sent from the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA);
• update demographic and postsecondary institution information; and
• view financial aid recipient history.

OR

Call the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) toll-free at 1-888-827-2004 to transfer the scholarship to another institution.

To receive timely disbursements, OSFA must be notified of institution changes by the schedule listed below:
